Granite:: An igneous rock of visible crystalline formation as well as texture, granite is commonly found in whitish & grey color and has a characteristic speckled appearance that is caused by the dark crystals. Marble is a nonfoliated metamorphic rock resulting from the metamorphism of limestone, composed mostly of calcite (a crystalline form of calcium carbonate, CaCO3). It is extensively used for sculpture, as a building material, and in many other applications. Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed mainly of sand-size mineral or rock grains. Most sandstone is composed of quartz and/or feldspar because these are the most common minerals in the Earth's crust. Handicraft, also known as craftwork or simply craft, is a type of work where useful and decorative devices are made completely by hand or using only simple tools.

Granite North
A crystalline igneous rock that consists largely of alkali feldspar (typically perthitic microcline or orthoclase), quartz, and plagioclase (commonly calcic albite or oligoclase). Its average grain size is 0.04–1.0 in. (1–25 mm); finer-grained rocks of this composition include rhyolite and aplite, and coarser-grained ones are granite pegmatite.Granites may be divided into three major types: calc-alkaline, peraluminous, and alkaline. Calc-alkaline granites typically are biotite or biotite-hornblende granites, some contain augite, and sphene is a common accessory.

Granite:: An igneous rock of visible crystalline formation as well as texture, granite is commonly found in whitish & grey color and has a characteristic speckled appearance that is caused by the dark crystals. Granite is widely acknowledged as the strongest of all natural stones has recently become popular for use in the kitchen design industry as an alternative to marble. Highly resistant to weathering, it is also a choice stone in the building of monuments.

Green Marble

green marble

The general bulk specific gravity of various types of green marbles tile and green marble rocks shows values around 2.3. With higher concentration of mafics and their altered variants, the corresponding values cab be as high as 2.5. The basic features of our Green Marble include:

  • Low water absorption test value of 0.2
  • High compressive strength of 118 N (MM)
  • Excellent glow characteristic of +85

Sandstone

Sandstone
A clastic sedimentary rock comprising an aggregate of sand-sized (0.06–2.0-mm) fragments of minerals, rocks, or fossils held together by a mineral cement. Sandstone forms when sand is buried under successive layers of sediment. During burial the sand is compacted, and a binding agent such as quartz, calcite, or iron oxide is precipitated from ground water which moves through passageways between grains. Sandstones grade upward in grain size into conglomerates and breccias; they grade downward in size into siltstones and shales.

Slate

Slate
Slate has an excellent shining property. Slate is a popular ornamental and decorative stone because of the pleasing colors, attractive patterns and designs. Slate tiles are used for wall cladding, roofing and flooring. Slate is suitable for Exterior and Interior Applications. Slate is a very fine grained metamorphic rock derived from the sedimentary rock 'shale'. Slate is composed mostly of mica, chlorite and quartz. Characteristically the rock may slit into relatively thinner slabs and can break easily. Some slates take very good polish, are extremely beautiful and more cost effective than most other wall and floor coverings. Slate has a fine to medium grained surface texture. It renders a very graceful, natural finish to any building or home.

Handicrafts

Handicrafts

Handicraft, also known as craftwork or simply craft, is a type of work where useful and decorative devices are made completely by hand or using only simple tools. Usually the term is applied to traditional means of making goods. The individual artisanship of the items is a paramount criterion, such items often have cultural and/or religious significance. Items made by mass production or machines are not handicrafts.

Usually, what distinguishes the term handicraft from the frequently used category arts and crafts is a matter of intent: handicraft items are intended to be used, worn, et cetera, having a purpose beyond simple decoration. Handicrafts are generally considered more traditional work, created as a necessary part of daily life, while arts and crafts implies more of a hobby pursuit and a demonstration/perfection of a creative technique. In practical terms, the categories have a great deal of overlap.
